Adult autism
The «Adult autism» reading is the paid part of the autism (autism spectrum disorder, ASD) test: you answer 72 statements about communication, sensory processing, interests, sameness and how much energy goes into masking; code computes TWO independent axes — how present the autistic traits are and how much you mask — along with 19 facets, a sensory map and the conditions a clinician checks, and an AI writes a coherent reading from those numbers: what exactly is present for you, what the picture is missing, what else could explain it and what to do next. The test itself, the profile and the conditions checklist are free: you pay only for the deep reading, having already seen your own scales. This is an educational tool, not a diagnosis, not a medical conclusion and not a prescription.

Scope
What we analyse
A profile instead of a single score
Free scales give a number and a cut-off — and the best-known one has a threshold most people who see a psychiatrist for any reason cross. Here you see how it is built for you: two axes scored separately, and inside them 19 facets — reciprocity in conversation, nonverbal language, relationships, routines, change, depth of interests, the cost of switching, hyper- and hypo-reactivity, overload, stimming, speech and three facets of masking.
Masking as a separate axis
The central adult story and something no Russian-language screener measures: how much energy goes into looking ordinary. Compensation, camouflaging and assimilation are scored separately — and they are most often what explains why nobody noticed for years. The reading names both the skill and its price.
The conditions a clinician checks — with the count inside
The social-communication three only count in full, any two of the repetitive-and-sensory forms are enough, plus «lifelong» and «with a real cost». Code shows not a tick but the internal count: «two parts of three», «three forms of four». And it says outright that the thresholds are ours, not clinical cut-offs.
A sensory map and what to do with it
Hyper- and hypo-reactivity are scored separately — they are different things and often live in one person. Practical decisions follow directly from the three lines: which environments cost the most, what recovery actually requires and which body signals arrive too late to rely on willpower.
What else produces the same picture
A required part of the reading, not a footnote: the aftermath of hard events, social anxiety, personality traits, attention differences, long exhaustion. The separating principles are named outright — this picture has no «before», in social anxiety the core is fear of judgement, while in an autistic profile the difficulty is in the interface of socialising itself.
The route in Russia and what to bring
Who determines this in an adult, what an appointment is like, and why the classification currently in force gives a wording containing the word for childhood — a quirk of the document, not a statement about you. Plus a PDF with your profile and answers: material for a conversation, not a formal conclusion.
Free first — then decide
Both axes, your point on the map, all 19 facets with zones, the conditions checklist with the count inside each, the masking flag and the «another explanation is in play» flag are free, right after the test. Payment is only for the full reading.

FAQ
Common questions
- No — and that matters. The test never says you are autistic and never says you are not. There are exactly three possible conclusions: the profile matches what a clinician looks at; it partly matches; it is better explained by something else. A clinician determines this in person, across a whole developmental history; there is no blood test and no scan for it.
- Free scales give one score and one cut-off, and a score above the threshold says almost nothing on its own. The paid reading is 72 statements of our own, two independent axes, 19 facets, a sensory map, conditions with the count inside them and a coherent AI text from your numbers: what exactly is present, what masking costs, what else explains the picture and what to do next.
- Free you get the real numbers: both axes, your point on the map, all 19 facets with zones, the conditions checklist and both flags. The paid reading is a coherent text from those numbers: what your pair of axes means and which of the three conclusions applies, the shape of the profile, masking and its price, the sensory map with practical decisions, the differential, the attention-difference fork and the route in Russia. Plus a PDF report.
- No, not in a single word — and that is not a disclaimer: there is nothing here to treat. This is not an illness but an inborn way of processing information; what helps is not medication «for autism» but a fitting environment, recovery and support. If there are co-occurring conditions — anxiety, long exhaustion, sleep problems — decisions about them belong to a clinician.
- The reading neither confirms nor overturns a specialist's decision — it is about something else: the shape of the profile. What exactly is present, how much energy goes into masking, how your sensory picture is built and what follows from it day to day. That is useful with a diagnosis, after being refused one, and while an appointment is still far off.
- No. The test is written for an adult answering about themselves: the wordings and the childhood questions are built for looking back. Children and teenagers are assessed by a specialist using other instruments, with input from parents and school — an adult test result cannot be transferred to them.
